Model-based Classification Structure

A Model-based Classification Structure is a classification structure that uses a more abstract language than learning records.

• Context:
  • It can be produced by a Model-based Classifier Creation System (that solve a model-based classifier creation task).
• Example(s):
  • a Decision Tree-based Classifier.
  • …
• Counter-Example(s):
  • Instance-based Classifier.
  • Model-based Regression Model.
• See: Model-based Classification Algorithm, Model-based Classification System.
