- Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with PMs and stakeholders to develop domain aware product standards and definitions
- Identify systematic patterns in language data by applying usage-based and theoretical generalizations
- Use a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to study language models in terms of human standards
- Create well balanced and controlled datasets that capture the diversity of real life language use
- Design, conduct and manage empirical studies with emphasis on the human factor
- Requirements:
- Strong background in theoretical linguistics (syntax, semantics, pragmatics)
- Strong background and substantial hands-on experience with usage-oriented research in academia or industry (psycholinguistics, language acquisition, corpus analysis or related subfields)
- Extensive Familiarity with quantitative research methods - from hypothesis testing to statistical analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to get technical
- Knowledge of project management
- Independent research capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English
- MA/PhD in any field studying human language behavior with focus on empirical research
