Negative Belief

A Negative Belief is a belief of the negation of a belief.

• Context:
  • It can range from being a True Negative Belief to being a False Negative Belief.
  • It can range from being a Justified Negative Belief to being an Unjustified Negative Belief.
• Example(s):
  • “not everyone is lucky.”
  • “Microsoft does not make automobiles.”
  • “John believes that the school is not closed on Tuesday.”.
  • a Negative Belief of a Belief, such as “John does not believe that the school is closed on Tuesday.”
• Counter-Example(s):
  • a Positive Belief.
