A Reference Record is a data record that is a referencer item (to some referent).

  • It can range from being a Log Record to being a Definitional Record.
  • It can range from being an Ambiguous Reference Record to being an Unambiguous Reference Record.

  • a Concept Record, such as an entity record or a relation record.
