GM‑RKB Vision: Ensure that peer-reviewed knowledge (concepts, relations, beliefs, and more) are made explicit and open.

Overview

GM‑RKB is a public, semantic wiki that catalogues concepts, publications, and people to support ongoing learning, research collaboration, and open knowledge sharing.

  • 2007 – Initial launch as a personal study wiki.
  • 2009 – Expanded to serve as ontology for my Ph.D. thesis project.
  • 2017 – Migration to MediaWiki + Semantic MediaWiki.
  • 2024 – Deployment of LLM‑assisted automated extraction pipeline.
  • 2025 – Surpassed 43 700 total pages.

Technology Stack

MediaWiki 1.41 with Semantic MediaWiki 4.x.

Custom Python/LLM bots for information extraction and page curation.

Nightly integrity checks using cron jobs and the PageAssessments extension.
