Verb

A Verb is a Word from the Verb Class (that indicates an action, an event, or a state)

• Context:
  • It can be:
    • a Lexical Verb (Action Verb, Occurrence Verb, ..., Terminological Verb).
    • an Auxiliary Verb/Grammatical Verb.
• Example(s):
  • Action Verbs:
    • go, come, step, suck, chew, eat up, swim, steal, extinguish.
    • "verb” ⇒ "It is possible to [verb] any noun.”
  • Being Verbs:
    • "exist", "live", "soak", and "stand".
  • Occurrence Verbs:
    • "to decompose” (itself) and "to glitter".
  • Auxiliary Verbs:
    • “do”, “did”, ... “doeth” (in some Senses such as when substituting for another verb), e.g. "I feel better now than I did(feel)".
